Production stills of the Choctaw Ponies, Antlers, OK

I talked about these remarkable ponies and Bryant Rickman and Jim Stephens who are striving hard to create a preserve for them in a previous post. Francine Locke Bray, archivist and research consultant is researching and writing the history of the ponies. She does a great deal of interviewing with anyone who has owned or experienced them in the past. Below are production stills of the filming of the ponies at Chata Isuba Ranch taken by Daniel Lay, Preparator at the Mabee- Gerrer Museum of Art, Production Assistant and Audio on the shooting of our Creative-Native Project documentary of Oklahoma.
